About me
Hey there!
My name is Jason and I’ve been interested in radio since an early age. Now in my late 30s, I have the time and resources to invest into pursuing my interest and exploring this hobby. I currently work for IBM as an infrastructure engineer and love what I do.
I’m an active Skywarn spotter and chase storms when I can get out of the house. When I’m stuck at my desk, I volunteer as a net controller for the NCTC Repeater Network. There is a HUGE Thursday night net every week at 8:30pm and you should definitely join us. If you can’t reach one of the many repeaters in the network, come on in via Wires-X, AllStar, or EchoLink. We’d love to have you!
Beyond that, I dabble in building antennas and have been very curious about getting into QRP digital modes with software defined transceivers. I’m always looking for new things to read about or equipment to review so if you have a suggesting, email me!
